Step 1 - Design It

This Calgary deck company process starts with a free in person consultation with one of our deck experts, where we discuss your needs and wants. Once a direction is established, we work together with you to design and shape the deck that best fits your vision, lifestyle and budget. A proper education of available products is essential to making an informed decision and with the multitude of decking materials, wood selections and railing options, it can become overwhelming. We help to narrow down the large list, and guide you to the products that perform the best, look great, and add value to your home for years to come. Once we have captured the scope of the project, our digital software makes the approval, communication and document sharing very convenient and user friendly. Deck King has a great trade partner who can help you with any permitting submissions as well to ensure a streamlined project from beginning to end.
Step 2 - build It
You have approved the estimate, and now its time to build! Believe it or not, this is the easy part. Your project will now enter our scheduling department and Deck King will order all materials for your project and secure a delivery date. When your scheduled construction date arrives, our team will begin with the removal and disposal of your existing structure and the materials will be delivered to your address. The next step is to install engineered concrete or helical pile foundations to support your new deck structure. Once the foundations have cured, our carpenters work meticulously crafting your new outdoor retreat. Depending on the scope and size of your project, this can take anywhere from 1 day to a few weeks. Once construction is complete, the site and deck area are thoroughly cleaned and all debris and remaining materials are removed from site. Final inspections are completed and approved by the municipality, and all records of completion are sent to you along with the final invoice.
