Pergolas, Privacy walls, windscreens, and arbors

A Pergola is a beautiful and timeless structure that can be added to any deck or yard and the design and accessory options are endless. Typically a pergola is constructed with Rough Cedar or Fir lumber and additional lighting, planters, hanging flowers and other personal touches can be added. The structures can be built free standing or fastened to existing structures which is why they are so popular.
Privacy Walls and Windscreens are a common addition to the Pergola structure, but can also be installed on their own as a substitute for railing. This is a popular option for providing more shelter from the wind and privacy from neighbors and common areas. Common materials used are Brown Pressure Treated wood, Cedar and Aluminum frame with glass panels.
Arbors are a simplistic version of a pergola, and carry the same design idea without the extended rafters.
